Dr Abdellah Karroum led Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art for eight successful years bringing to Doha works of modern and contemporary artists from the Arab world dipped in cultural and historical connections.
As he passes on the baton of responsibility to the next director, Dr Karroum reflects on the inexhaustible works that were brought to the public eye with his active contribution.
